Brisbane startup Plasticine, in partnership with Mucho Bravado and Future Mag are launching a monthly club night Factory at The Foundry, starting March 3.
Factory at The Foundry is a nod to Andy Warhol’s New York studio and draws inspiration from the pop artist’s deep and enduring creative vision. The monthly club night will showcase an eclectic mix of local and interstate music, pairing aural delights with art installations and visual displays to create a truly immersive pARTy experience.
Comin’ in hotter than Campbell’s Soup is Brisbane’s finest enigmatic, electro-pop stalwart and Factory headliner Andy Ward. He’ll be supported by intergalactic synth darlings FeelsClub who are back home after charming East Coast audiences on their Deadlights tour in late 2017. Keeping the party pumping into the wee hours will be the Scratch DJs who will transform the backroom of The Foundry into Warhol’s 1960’s loft with the help of curated and mesmerising reactive projections.
Just as Warhol was the “bellwether of the art market”, Factory promises to set the standard for live music and art in Brisbane’s electric creative community.
Factory at The Foundry launches March 3. Doors at 8pm. Entry $10
