Sydney’s I Know Leopard return with new single ‘Let Go’, an evocative track inspired by the dreamy sounds of French synth-pop maestro, Serge Gainsbourg.

Silky female harmonies pull you in as the track swirls through its opening and is eventually stripped back to lead singer Luke O’Loughlin’s opening line ‘Too Much Pressure, too much pressure in. So much oxygen but you won’t let it in’. As it moves and grows, the track begins to lead the listener to breathy catharsis as it reaches its insanely catchy chorus.

After signing a deal with Ivy League Records, the band has spent the greater part of 2016 writing and recording new music, working with revered Australian producer Steve Schram (Paul Kelly, Tiny Little Houses). They supported Holy Holy on their massive national tour and played headline shows of their own.

No strangers to the road, I KNOW LEOPARD will be taking ‘Let Go’ to national audiences, as they join Montaigne as main support on her upcoming August tour.

‘Let Go’ follows the release of last year’s radio favourite ‘Rather Be Lonely’ the band’s acclaimed EP Another Life, which spawned three high-rotation singles at triple j and saw them sell out their national headline tour.
