HOLLOW COVES ANNOUNCE DEBUT HEADLINE SHOWS + DEBUT ‘WANDERLUST’ EP OUT NOW

By February 9, 2017

#9 HollowCoves

Hollow Coves have just started a tour and today they announce another. With demand for their live show growing the duo have decided to take a full band on the road for three dates across the East Coast this March.

With two singles (‘Coastline and ‘The Woods’) charting at #1 on Hype Machine and with over six million streams on Spotify alone in 2016, Hollow Coves are carrying a healthy dose of momentum into today’s debut EP release. Recently announcing local and international booking deals, the duo have eyes set on their next milestone. Today marks the release of their Wanderlust EP which is now available here.

Wanderlust carries itself calmly and steadily, engulfing its listener like a gentle breeze that whispers softly the truths of the wayfaring nomad. Thematically, Hollow Coves see travel and the intrepid spirit as their muse for the entirety of their upcoming debut EP Wanderlust. With one in England and the other in Canada, the songs began to take shape. Ideas flew back and forth across the seas, their crude beginnings as “dodgy iPhone recordings played on hostel guitars” eventually maturing when Hollow Coves reunited in a little apartment in Toronto. The bare bones of Wanderlust were laid down at Montreal’s Indica Studios, then achieved a sort of full-circle closure, fleshing out in Hollow Coves’ home of Brisbane, Australia.

Wanderlust EP is OUT NOW and tickets are ON SALE NOW for the March tour.
