Having recently completed a run of sold out shows, to rave reviews across the country, Andy Bull’s infectious sound has now captivated the ears of a new nation with the US label Republic Records signing a deal to introduce him to American audiences.
The latest and arguably greatest phase for Sydney familial dream-pop collective TIGERTOWN is well underway with a mammoth national tour kicking off next week and a full add to triple j rotation with the new single ‘What You Came Here For’. Already possessing the support prowess of The Starry Field - the musical spawn of The Middle East’s Mark Myers – the shows now boasts opening sets from the likes of Kathryn Rollins, Indian Red, Mountains, Neda, Castlecomer and The Maze. In May 2012, a cultivation of six songwriters from varying creative backgrounds called themselves LURCH & CHIEF and launched on to the scene by playing their first show to release their debut EP to a heaving warehouse full of ready punters. Since this time the band’s creative outlet hasn’t let up with the additional release of two critically acclaimed stand-alone singles in ‘It’s Easy’ and ‘I’ll Meet You On Planet Z’.
