We’re probably biased, but just listen up for a bit while we gush a little about the new album from Edward Guglielmino & The Show. It’s called Sunshine State and we’ll be releasing it only on vinyl and digital about this time next week – Friday, May 18. In all honesty, we just want you to hear it so we’re doing what we can to get some of the gold featured on the 10 track album heard by as many as possible.
Enter: Rowley Cowper, bass, guitar, backing vocals and all round nice guy of Ed’s aforementioned The Show. He nabbed Ed for a night and made him change shirts for about six hours to make this little DIY visual gem. The song – ‘Healthy’ – is one of our favourites from Sunshine State, showing off not only a remarkable emotion and quality to Ed’s voice, but also a newfound depth to his songwriting.
WATCH.
Want to hear more tracks from Sunshine State? There are three more on his triple j Unearthed page. And another rather graphic video for the next single ‘You’ll Be The Death Of Me’ is just around the corner.
We’re proud.
