As the freshest new kids on the Australian pop block, Brisbane’s Ball Park Music have been dazzling locals throughout 2009 with their keen ear for a killer hook and impressive stage shows. Now in 2010, the six-piece wunderkinds are set to be more than just the local best kept secret as they release their first single from an upcoming album. ‘Sea Strangers (I Don’t Really Know You)‘ displays loud and proud everything Ball Park Music are about: strong songsmithery, infectious choruses, dazzling musicianship and a whole lot of barrel-of-monkies-fun.

Following on from nabbing the acclaimed iTunes Single of the Week spot last week, Ball Park Music will be further celebrating the release of the single with its official launch at The Troubadour on Saturday, February 6. If that’s not enough to get you there,

they’ll also be launching their debut video for the track at the show – those who have come to know the assemblage of characters behind the band will know that it’s sure to be an intriguing affair.
