ANDY WARD – NEW SINGLE ‘LET ME DOWN’

By April 24, 2017

Brisbane’s elusive jack of all trades, Andy Ward bursts into 2017 with his latest single ‘Let Me Down’. Premiering on triple j’s ‘2017 with Richard Kingsmill’ last night, the surreal, modern day ballad sees Ward further explore his trademark minimalist approach to electronica.

‘Let Me Down’ rolls through a lush, haunting electronic soundscape with deep, hollow beats and bass riffs and gently building synths that meld seamlessly with Ward’s textured harmonies. Inviting the listener to become lost in his delicately nuanced world, Andy Ward continues to set himself further apart from conventional electronica with each release.

Andy Ward’s debut release ‘Drinks & Money’ gained praise from the likes of Music Feeds, triple j unearthed, and international blogs and saw the Brisbane artist sign to the renowned Sony Music and Harbour Booking Agency.

Andy Ward will be announcing live shows for 2017 very soon which will feature surprising visual elements.

‘Let Me Down’ is out now.
