Tales in Space – Rolling in the Deep

September 30th, 2011 | By

Explosive electronic group Tales In Space have delivered an undeniable take on Adele’s highly acclaimed masterstroke ‘Rolling In The Deep’.  The track features on Ministry of Sound’s Uncovered Vol. 3; an eclectic mix of covers packed together by the market leader in compilation releases. The two disk release is out today, Friday September 30.

The third installment of Ministry of Sound’s Uncovered compilation disc features Tales In Space alongside an esteemed list of recording artists including The Killers, Hot Chip, The XX and PNAU. Tales have certified their position amongst such heavyweights, crafting a vibrant highlight to the album.

By applying their own electronic urges, Tales have once again created an appetizing mix of their own distinctive musical strengths: punchy drums, soaring vocal melodies and jarring groove-based guitars.  Their personal strength for production shines through as the track mirrors the immense vocal and melodic intensity of the original.

After touring throughout August of 2011 in support of their most recent single ‘Paper Plane’, the lads are currently deeply immersed in the studio, working hard in formation of their forthcoming LP. The reworking of Adele’s successful single stands up as a vibrant re-interpretation and an energetic step for the Sydney duo as part of such an acclaimed release.
