Sydney electro rockers Tales in Space are flying their catchy new single ‘Paper Plane’ this August. The two-piece are taking off for a run of capital city shows in support and rumour has it, their live show is pretty bangin’.Tales in Space create using a montage of samples, loops, radios, keyboards and triggers while still maintaining a solid foundation of traditional drums and guitars. With two self-produced EPs sporting singles ‘Work You Out’ and ‘Ghost in the Room’ to their name, the band aren’t strangers to the scene.
‘Paper Plane’ is set to continue their momentum with previous props from triple j and major community station FBi as well as airtime on Rage and Channel V. The brand new single sits on their forthcoming debut LP landing late 2011.
Amongst studio time, Tales have been giving their new tunes a whirl at a wave of shows around their hometown gathering kudos for their exciting, energetic and entrancing delivery. With their slamming beats, strong harmonies and sample based twist, their upcoming shows are not to be missed.
