The achievements of emma louise continue to unfold. With her first Queensland headline tour successfully wrapped up and the imminent national tour supporting Josh Pyke her stunning live show is garnering the attention it deserves.
Ticket sales, although notable for Emma’s first headline run with sold out shows in Brisbane and Cairns, only tell half of the story. She manages to mesmerise the audience into complete silence, hanging on to every honest word she sings, until that final note when they rapture in applause.
Amongst her hectic touring schedule, Emma had the opportunity to record a duet with Australian troubadour Lior for the They Will Have Their Way album.  Together, they covered the Finn Brothers’ classic ‘It’s Only Natural’. “If someone had told me in high school, that I would be have been doing a duet in a few years time with Lior, I would have laughed. Lior is one of my favourite artists and biggest inspirations so it was a massive honour to be recording with him” says Emma.
Additionally, Emma has been announced as a finalist in three categories of the Queensland Music Awards. She is a finalist in Pop for her first single ‘Jungle’, Folk/Singer Songwriter for her moving ballad ‘1000 Sundowns’ and the Courier Mail People’s Choice Awards for Most Popular Female.
emma louise ventures into the studio this August to record her second EP before returning to the stage in September as a part of the BigSound showcases, a special performance at The Courier Mail Spiegeltent for Brisbane Festival and the Josh Pyke Only Sparrows Tour.

Brisbane-based front girl emma louise created one of those swirling internal effects, as if you were dancing inside your mind while your body remained completely still. The songs shared a very consistent mood, yet instead of growing tired, the set seemed to have the opposite effect of hastening toward a close.”- Fasterlouder
“It won’t be long before Emma Louise is held in the same esteem as other great Australian female artists, such as Sarah Blasko and Julia Stone. For now though, the crowd is happy to keep Emma Louise as their own little secret. As she plays her final song, the radio hit Jungle, I feel that I have gotten my money’s worth and the night isn’t even getting started.” AAA Backstage
“I stand by my assertions that emma louise is a premier talent in Australian music. I cannot wait until she releases a full album but for now I am happy that I was here to share this special show with 199 other lucky punters.”AAA Backstage
