Brisbane Nanna Nights – Now Weekly
April 11th, 2011 | By
Quickly garnering a loyal Wednesday night following, demand for Brisbane Nanna Nights is enough to now make them weekly. Industry and punters alike gather nice and early, right from work or whatever their day entails for quiet drinks, a game of cards or a board game, excellent food and stripped back, unplugged sets from Brisbane’s finest bands.
Coming up this week is Brisbane’s Numbers Radio stripping back their usual rock while Hungry Kids of Hungary’s Kane Mazlin and Remy Boccalatte unveil a very different side-project called Spring Skier the week after. Later in the month and into May features singer/songwriters Jac Stone, Dom Miller and Cowper as well as bands Lion Island and Tape/Off re-working the norm for the night.
