2010 saw The Cairos stamp their name out as one hardworking band following a run of shows alongside the likes of The Mess Hall, Powderfinger and their co-headline tour with Melbourne up-starts, The Young Heretics. On the recording front, they officially released their Summer Catalogue; a collection of songs they took some time to craft and record and then generously made available to fans for free. Rewarded with rotation play for trance-rock single ‘Listening Party’, and a steady stream of shows, summer may now be over, but it seems the good times aren’t about to stop anytime soon.

Maintaining their touring continuum, The Cairos unite with Sydney-siders Seabellies for an east-coast jaunt this month, intervened with a few extra stand-alone shows along the way. Amongst the mass, they’ll make a Live Spark appearance at the Brisbane Powerhouse, join the likes of Cabins and Belles Will Ring for the Jim Beam Bootleg event which is set to showcase a hand chosen selection of the nations finest and finally cap the month off with Ric’s Backyard Festival in Brisbane.
If that wasn’t enough to keep the lads busy, they’ll also be joining Calling All Cars and Birds of Tokyo on their Queensland dates in April and May while perhaps finding some studio time along the way.
