ROCKETSMITHS BLAST THROUGH SYDNEY NEXT WEEKEND

Following on from QLD support slots with Texan rockers Spoon and the release of their pyromaniac-friendly film-clip for new single ‘Underground’, Brisbane’s most wayward rock outfit get kicked out of town for the weekend and take the party to Sydney.

The Underground Tour takes in a dozen dates from the Sunshine Coast to Melbourne and gives audiences the chance to share in the good times that always seem to find the rabble-rousing quintet.
Those who like their rock a tad off-kilter, their punk a little clever and their stage antics a lot crazy are encouraged to catch Rocketsmiths as they haphazardly make their way throughout the country, with support on the majority of dates from Melbourne indie-power-popsters Red Ink.

Live reviews from Spoon support show – May 5, 2010

“The Rocketsmiths perform their fast, and at times ferocious indie rock set with ease …if you don’t know much about them, it’s time to take notice.”
The [AU] Review

“The rock group often sound more like a travelling freak show carnivale band, especially with hectic frontman Dom Miller’s oddly deliberate vocal delivery …but it’s those moments when he lets his guard down that the Rocketsmiths show their most exciting moments, particularly on newer material.”
