DRAWN FROM BEES LAUNCH THE SKY IS FALLING

October 9th, 2009 | By

Drawn from Bees launch their third studio recording next Friday, October 16 at the Troubadour in Brisbane in true art-rock fashion – a Masquerade Ball!

The dynamic four, who certainly don’t need a reason to don a tailored velvet suit and pop in some vintage cufflinks, will mark the occasion with specially designed masks, whilst treating punters to radio favourites including ‘Picture Show’ and ‘Long Tooth Setting Sun’ as well as presenting new tracks from The Sky Is Falling.

Adding to the creative tones of the evening will be vibrant youngsters Ball Park Music, and the thickly sweet alt-folk of Oh Ye Denver Birds.

The launch kicks off The Sky Is Falling tour throughout Queensland, including a special Valley Fiesta appearance as selected by triple j Unearthed, a quick visit to Sydney, with a bunch more dates to be announced soon.

For a taste of the EP, check out the fresh new clip where femme-bots and science collide with the playful sing-a-long refrain of lead single ‘Cables In The Sky’.
