HLS EMBARK ON HOT LIQUID TOUR

Brisbane trio HOT LIQUID SEX have had quite the productive year in 2008; their EP launch at the Zoo came close to selling out, their song ‘Fortune Cookie’ was featured on a Triple J Unearthed podcast while their acclaimed live show saw them alongside the likes of Custom Kings for their Queensland tour, Krill for their single launch as well as a couple of full houses at Brisbane’s beloved Ric’s Bar. The girls are already eying time for release number two in the very near future.

But first it’s time to finally treat Melbourne to what Brisbane audiences have been experiencing for the last two years when they take their acclaimed live show on the road on the back of the release of their debut EP Unexpect The Expected.

The trio will play three shows in Melbourne where they will join old friends The Basics and Princess One Point Five for a night at The Evelyn Thursday, August 21. Then on Saturday the 23rd, they play a short instore set at Pure Pop Records at St Kilda before heading to the Spanish Club to join Gaslight Radio and Registered Nurse.

Then the following week it’s back to home turf where they will play two back to back shows with The Basics and Jake Rush & The Bad Habits at the Sol Bar in Coolum and the Troubadour in Brisbane August 29 and 30 respectively.
